This comprehensive program prepares students for the California State Certified Nurse Assistant examination. Students receive both classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training in skilled nursing facilities.
The curriculum covers essential nursing skills including vital signs monitoring, patient hygiene, infection control, safety procedures, and compassionate care for patients with various health conditions and cognitive impairments.
Upon completion, students will be prepared to pass the California State CNA examination, demonstrate competency in basic nursing skills, provide safe and compassionate patient care, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and understand infection control and safety protocols in healthcare settings.
To prepare competent, compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants who can provide high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
